งานปักทองเริ่มต้นมันเป็นทักษะหนึ่ง ในหลายๆทักษะที่เรียนในสถาบัน หลังจากนั้นเค้าถูกเก็บอยู่ในกล่องเนินนาน จนเราลืมไปแล้วว่าเราเคยทำมันจนได้

วันนึง ถึงเวลาที่บ้านอายุ 30 ปีของนุ่นต้องรีโนเวท ข้าวของในสมัยเรียนทุกอย่างถูกรื้อออกมา เพื่อตัดสินใจว่าอันไหนจะเก็บ อันไหนจะปล่อยไป ฉันตัดใจจากเขาไม่ได้ นุ่นเลยเริ่มปักตาลปัตรสีชมพู มันขี้เหร่มากจนถึงวันนี้ก็ยังมันไม่เสร็จ ฉันได้พบว่ามันเป็นงานอดิเรกที่น่าหลงใหล มันช่วยฝึกสมาธิ กำหนดจิตให้นิ่ง ต้องยอมรับชีวิตในช่วงนั้นมีปัญหาเยอะจริงๆ แต่เมื่อสมาธินิ่งพอ ปัญญาเกิด ฉันมองเห็นหนทางแก้ปัญหาหลายหลายอย่างในชีวิต ฉันเริ่มหลงรักมัน

ฉันมองหาเทคนิคใหม่ๆ ลวดลายใหม่ๆ มองหาวัสดุใหม่ๆ จากทั่วทั้งโลก เอามาประยุกต์กับความรู้ดั้งเดิมคือ ศิลปะไทย ฉันได้พบเจอผู้คนที่ทำงานในสาขานี้ปเหมือนกัน มันเหมือนการได้ก้าวผ่านประตูที่เคยเปิดแง้มไว้อยู่แล้ว ได้ก้าวเข้าไปในห้องที่เราคิดว่ามันว่างเปล่า แต่แท้จริงแล้วห้องนั้นเป็นเมืองเมืองหนึ่งที่เต็มไปด้วยผู้คน ข้าวของ การ์ดพลัง รวมถึงบรรดาอสูร และภารกิจมากมาย

ฉันคิดว่าฉันคงปักผ้าแบบนี้ไปเรื่อยๆจนกว่าตาฉันจะมองไม่เห็น

ได้แรงบันดาใจมาจาก เครื่องรางชนิดนึงที่ชื่อว่า Nazar เป็นเครื่องรางที่นิยมในประเทศตรูกี ดวงตาคู่ ชึ่งได้จัดวางสีให้เป็นสีเขียวน้ำทะเล นัยน์ตาใช้สีฟ้าอควมาลีน นั้นเพราะแนวคิดเรื่องของเครื่องรางดวงตาปีศาจ มีสิ่งที่เกี่ยวเนื่องบางอย่างกับน้ำและการชำระล้าง หินชนิดนี้มีคุณสมบัติแบบเดียวกัน การปักดิ้นทองในโครงสร้างลายเป็นตัวกำหนดรูปทรงของลูกนัยน์ตาและทิศทางในการมองตอบโต้ของดวงตา

Eyes

Inspired by a type of amulet called Nazar, a popular amulet in Turkey. The pair of eyes were arranged in a sea green color, the eyes were aquamarine blue, because of the concept of the evil eye amulet, it had something to do with water and purification, kind of stone. This has the same features. Gold embroidery in the pattern structure, determines the shape of the eye ball, and the direction of the eye response.

การออกแบบได้แรงบันดาลใจมาจากพระเกตุมาลาทรงดอกบัวตูม โดย แผ่เลือมเป็นชั้นๆคล้ายรัศมี รอบดอกบัวตูมกลางดอกปักดิ้นทอง ปักให้มีลักษณะเหมือนทองพ่นทราย

Hairpin Bua Kham

The design was inspired by Phra Ketumala. Lotus bud-shaped, layered like a halo Around the lotus bud, the middle of the flower is embroidered with gold to look like sandblasted gold.

ปิ่น สินธุมารี

แบบของงานชิ้นนี้ได้แรงบันดานใจมาจาก รูปร่างของปลาหมึก ที่กำลังว่ายน้ำในทะเล เป็นการคลี่คลายของรูปทรง ด้านบนใช้ดิ้นทองลายเกลียวเป็นส่วนของหนวด และส่วนของหัวที่อยู่ถัดลงมาใช้ อควอมาลีนล้อมด้วยดิ้นทอง สร้างในพื้นผิวที่ต่างกัน ดูเหมือนปลาหมึกลอยนิ่งแต่แท้จริงมีการขยับตลอดเวลา

The design of this piece was inspired by Shape of an octopus, that is swimming in the sea. It's the unraveling of shapes. At the top, threaded tinsel is used as part of the mustache, and the part of the head below is used. Aquamarine surrounded by gold threads, created in different textures. It looks like a floating squid but is actually moving all the time.
